Fabulous Fall Looks
Well ladies summer is almost over and we are getting revved up for fall. Cooler temperatures and even cooler makeup looks are what we have to look forward to. With many fabulous fall faces to choose from you're bound to find a flattering one for you. This season pair jeweled tone eyes with shimmering skin and barely there lips as seen on Gucci's runway. Sweep an emerald green or amethyst powder eye shadow along the upper and lower lash line with an angle brush, slightly winging it out a bit. Follow with a light dusting of pale gold or iridescent powder on the top of your cheekbones and under the brow bone. Cheeks and lips should be a soft nude pink. For a universal look that does not take much time, try the look from Donna Karan's runway. A rose wine colored lipstick and rose cheek compliment an otherwise bare face. Make sure to subtly line the upper lashes at the roots with a soft brown liner and apply a dose of mascara so the eyes do not disappear. Think Ali McGraw when trying the look at Chloe's fall show. A strong rich brow and clean nude lips and cheeks are all it takes. Softly fill in brows with a little brow filler the same shade as your hair color, and choose nude toned lipstick and blush with a hint of peach to keep looking fresh and healthy. Zac Posen showed us charcoaled smoky eyes and pale pink lips, which every woman will want to try. Choose a slightly metallic granite eye shadow and sweep it over the eyelid from lash line to crease and softly under lower lash line. Soften the face by applying soft pink powder blush to the apples of the cheeks and a soft pink lip gloss that finishes the look. Now for those women who just can't wait to pull out that red lipstick by all means do it, but wear it with a more modern approach. Use a nude lip pencil first then slightly dab on the color with your fingertip. It should look almost transparent and not too 'done'. Lots of lash is also a hot fall trend so grab your favorite mascara and lash out!

Oil Slicks Beware
I receive a lot of e-mail each week from women asking me how to control oil and shine. For many of us powder and blotting papers just aren't enough. Often times women feel like their makeup "disappears" throughout the day. So what do you do to battle the greasies? Try the new OC Eight Mattifying Gel. This breakthrough product will put you in control of facial shine. I am constantly smearing on new products sent to me with all sorts of claims, but I really only share with you the very best. OC Eight truly works and it is easy to use. After cleansing, apply an oil-free moisturizer. If you use a toner in between these steps make sure there is no alcohol in it. This will just strip your skin and cause more oil production. Apply the OC Eight gel and follow with your makeup routine. It works for a full eight hours so you can achieve a flawless, smooth and grease-free complexion that will last all day. Remember to then choose makeup that will stay put as well. Use oil-free foundation like ERA Face (my absolute favorite foundation in the world) and stay away from cream shadows and blushes. Stick with powder formulas. Don't apply mascara on the lower lashes if you tend to get shiny because that is the first place it will run. Waterproof mascaras and eyeliner pencils last a lot longer than regular ones. You can use any lip gloss or lipstick you love because that is the only place we want a lot of shine! To find OC Eight visit www.oc8.com.
