What's In The Silver Can?
I have received hundreds of e-mails recently asking me about the foundation I have been using on "What Not To Wear". Although I have written about this magical stuff in recent
newsletters, I'd like to share with you new comers about the best foundation line ever. Era Face Spray-On Foundation by Classified Cosmetics is the answer to alot of women's
beauty dilemmas. An oil-free and water resistant foundation, it sprays a fine mist of great coverage that lasts and lasts. I use it a little differently on the face than the
company suggests which just shows this is a very versatile foundation. For lighter coverage, I like to dip a non-latex sponge in a little moisturizer, then spray the
foundation onto the sponge and apply to the face. You can also spray it directly on the face and buff it in (with the puff included) for more coverage. No need for concealer,
just spray a bit into the palm of your hand and use your finger or a concealer brush to spot conceal any areas that need extra coverage. Tattoos, scars, unsightly veins and
anything else on the body can be quickly covered with no blending by just spraying Era on in a flash. Classified Cosmetics has also created Era Rayz- an amazing spray-on
bronzer and Era Glaze- an awesome shimmer for the body. For those of you that need a little help evening out the skin before applying foundation, Era Primer will smooth out
and brighten the face creating a flawless canvas. I am not a spokes person for this line I just swear by the results. As a professional makeup artist I am bombarded with new
foundations to try and I seam to always stick with Era. No matter what skin type or skin problems women, celebs, or models I work with might have Era is always the answer.

Winter Nail Woes

Every winter my nails get so brittle and my
cuticles so dry it makes me crazy! I decided to
ask my friend and nail expert Firoze` what I
can do to keep them strong and beautiful all
year long. To pamper and strengthen your nails
and soften cuticles she suggests an easy and
inexpensive treatment that can be found in your
kitchen. Take a cup of 100% natural olive oil
and heat it up ia a bowl until it’s warm. Next,
take a fresh lemon and squeeze it into the oil.
Plop yourself in front of the t.v. and soak
your hands into this mixture for 20 minutes.
This will not only soften the cuticles and
strengthen the nails but the lemon juice will
help fade liver spots and sun damage. Firoze`
also suggests trying her natural line of nail
polishes and treatments. Most products on the
market contain nasty things like formaldehyde
and dibutyl phthalate that dehydrate nails. She
has developed unique blends of organic cotton
and silk, herbs, vitamins and oils that nourish
and condition nails so they will be strong
healthy no matter what the season. Her products
are so popular they have appeared on the pages
of Vogue, Bazar, O, Lucky and InStyle. Her nail
rejuvenating and cuticle cream works wonders
when applied to the hands at night and then
wearing cotton gloves to bed. You will have a
luxurious spa treatment while you sleep and
wake up to younger lovelier hands. Visit
www.Firoze.com to see the entire product line.
