Every time I wear cream eye shadow it creases. How can I play with cream color without the mess?
Carmindy:
If cream shadow is being a pain try applying it in the right area where no crease occurs. Try using color creams on the lid only stopping short of the crease and for highlight shades under the brow only and the inside corners of the eyes. Use a powdered shadow in the crease area and this way your eyes will stay crease free but have that creamy look where you want it.

I’m 65 years old with blue eyes and my hair recently went from brown to totally grey. The brown and green eye shadows I have always used look heavy on my lids now. Do I have to give them up for good?
Carmindy:
The shades yes, the shadows no! You are simply using the wrong colors. As we age and our coloring changes we need to switch up our makeup. Play into your new coloring with lighter colors in a pressed eye shadow formulas. Choose midtone shades in taupe and grey to play up your beautiful coloring and black mascara will frame your pretty eyes.

Sometimes I feel like playing with false lashes but I’m only 16 and my mom thinks it’s too much. Is she right or can I play with these?
Carmindy:
At your lovely age skip the heavy artillery like falsies and opt for an easier look. Play up your eyes with a fun sparkling eye shadow swept across the lid or feather on colored mascara that compliments your eye color. This look will suit your adventurous nature and keep you looking fresh and not overdone.
