Fabulous Fall Faces

Hello lovely ladies, are you ready for a new look this season? We are in the middle of fall and some of us are still not quite sure how to update our makeup wardrobes. I'll give you my top 3 fav looks that work on any of you no matter what your age or your skin tone and I'll suggest some products that will stay within your budget. If your eyes are your feature focus then try the hot new hue of quartz on your lids. This shadow is in the plum family with a slight grayish cast and a hint of shimmer. It works on any skin tone and can be used day or night. My suggestion is to sweep it across your lids from the lash line to the crease and then smudge it under the lower lash line using an angle brush. The perfect color is the lid shade found in my Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired By Carmindy Instant Definition Eye Shadow Palette in Quartz. Apply a highlight shade under the brow and on the inside corners of the eyes then line the upper lash line with chocolate brown eyeliner pencil. Apply black mascara and swirl on a dusty rose cream blush and matching lip gloss. Another key trend with eyes this fall is jewel toned colored eyeliner. Try pure plum, indigo blue or jade to spark up those flirty eyes of yours. Simply line the upper lash line with these new cool liners and wing them up and out at the ends of your eyes. Try my Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired By Carmindy Forever Stay Eye Pencil for a longwearing line that won't budge. Sweep on a shimmering nude shadow across the entire lid from lashes to brow bone and apply mascara on upper lashes only. Use neutral blush and lipstick with a glossy finish to keep this look balanced. For those of you who want to play up your luscious lips, sheer berry is so very now! N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Shine in Cherrywood gives you the color, shine and moisture lips crave this time of year. I like to match this lip look with peachy cheeks and loads of black mascara. So with these 3 new fall looks to choose from and products that won't break the bank your beauty arsenal will be locked and loaded.

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things
  1. Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired By Carmindy Instant Definition Eye Shadow Palette in Quartz. The shadow of the moment is found in this gorgeous collection.
  2. Ecotools Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush. This soft and natural brush smudges on shadow along the lower lash line with ease.
  3. Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Smitten. The perfect dusty rose shade to pair with the new fall eye.
  4. Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired By Carmindy Forever Stay Eye Pencil in all shades. I developed these awesome liners to glide on without pulling or tugging and they last from sunup to sundown.
  5. Milani Color Brilliance Eye Pencils in Aqua, Green and Purple. For those daring and brave enough to go for the trendier 80's look of colored liners.
  6. Almay Pure Blends Eye Shadow in Ivory. This hue works well with the bolder colored eyeliners.
  7. N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Shine in Cherrywood. I love this sheer but sexy gloss to get the deep color of the moment without having to fully commit to a heavy lipstick.
  8. Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired By Carmindy Natural Highlighter in Pink Luster and Gold Luster. Both of these cream highlight duos blend across the eyes seamlessly for a sheer sparkle and luminous glow.
  9. Boots #7 Blush Tint Cream in Clove. The perfect neutral blush and with it's creamy formula it keeps skin hydrated in the drier weather.
  10. L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara. For full and flirty lashes that won't smudge.

Cheryl Crosby writes:
I'm trying to save money in this economy and I really don't want to spend any more cash on makeup. How can I look fresh with the cosmetics I already have?

Carmindy:
That's easy! Simply combine or layer old colors together to create new shades. If you have a deep lipstick blend it together with a lighter gloss to create a pretty new sheer lipstick. If you have a shimmering shade of eye shadow mix it with a darker matte one to invent a fab fall hue.

Dana Spano writes:
Is there any way to wear deeper wine shades of lipsticks without the color making my small lips look smaller?

Carmindy:
Yes by going for sheer sparkling wine shades. The sheerness and sparkle will reflect light making the lips stand out. You can also use a Q-Tip to trace the outer rim of your lips first with my Natural Highlighter in Pink Luster. This will make lips look full and pouty.

Sharon Martinez writes:
Eyeliner always disappears throughout the day. How do I make it last?

Carmindy:
First prep your eyelids with a little shadow base or foundation then set it with powder. Next use my waterproof Forever Stay Eye Pencil to apply a smooth line that will stay all day long.
